Warranty for bodyfuel™ Mattress

At bodyfuel™, we strive to provide our customers with the best possible sleep experience. We understand that choosing the right mattress is a personal decision, and that’s why we offer a 180-night sleep trial for all our mattresses (x2 the terms of most brands). If for any reason you are not satisfied with your bodyfuel™ mattress, we offer a one-time exchange for a different mattress size or firmness level.

EXCLUSIVE REMEDY / OTHER LIMITATIONS:

  • This Limited Warranty excludes any and all implied warranties on bodyfuel’s® products, including any warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. The service terms stated in this Limited Warranty shall be the customer’s sole and exclusive remedy in the event of product failure during the warranty period. bodyfuel shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use of or inability to use this product, or for the breach of this or any other express or implied warranty. bodyfuel does not warrant that this product is suitable for any person’s medical condition. bodyfuel makes no warranty beyond what is contained in this Limited Warranty.
  • This Limited Warranty is in addition to any statutory warranty and does not exclude or limit legal rights that you may have and shall run concurrently with applicable regional legislation. Furthermore, some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty will last, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

MATTRESS WARRANTY

  • The mattress only warranty period starts from the date of purchase of a bodyfuel mattress. If any foundation used in lieu of a proper base is the cause or contributes to the defect, the warranty is null and void.
  • This warranty applies to the mattress only and does not cover any matching foundations or accessories. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use for the specified warranty period. This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser of the mattress.
  • To make a claim under this warranty, the original purchaser must provide proof of purchase and allow bodyfuel to inspect the mattress. If a defect covered by this warranty is found, the bodyfuel will, at its option, repair or replace the mattress. Any transportation or handling costs associated with the repair or replacement of the mattress are the responsibility of the purchaser.

We recommend that you keep this warranty together with your sales receipt in a safe place.

We stand behind the quality and reliability of our products with a Limited Warranty that covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal household use for the specified warranty period.

LENGTHS & CONDITIONS OF THE LIMITED WARRANTY

  • This Limited Warranty starts on the date of purchase. To determine the length of this warranty, refer to the product’s label code and the corresponding warranty period listed in the warranty information provided with your purchase. If a manufacturing defect occurs during the warranty period, bodyfuel will repair or replace (at bodyfuel’s option) the defective mattress. If replacement is required, bodyfuel may substitute materials of equal or higher quality if the like components are not available. Except for such repair or replacement, bodyfuel is not responsible for any transportation costs, loss of use, or any other claim.
  • Please note that repair or replacement of a mattress does not extend this Limited Warranty nor begin a new warranty period. This warranty is in addition to any statutory warranty and does not exclude or limit legal rights that you may have and shall run concurrently with applicable regional legislation. Furthermore, some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty will last, so the above limitations may not apply to you.

THE BODYFUEL LIMITED WARRANTY IS VALID ONLY UNDER THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES:

  1. You must be the original purchasing consumer.
  2. You must provide a copy of the original purchase receipt clearly showing the date of purchase and the purchase price.
  3. You must complete the Warranty Service Request Questionnaire, which can be obtained from our customer service team.
  4. To be eligible for warranty service, you must satisfy all three of these conditions.
  • BODYFUEL® LIMITED WARRANTY EXCLUSIONS
    The following circumstances are not covered by the bodyfuel Limited Warranty:
  1. The mattress fabric covering materials.
  2. Normal body impressions of less than 2 inches.
  3. Comfort or firmness preferences of the product.
  4. Products that are sold/shipped outside the country.
  5. Sheet fit. bodyfuel does not guarantee that the mattress will fit a particular sheet size.
  6. Transportation charges to and from the factory.
  7. Compensation for loss of use.
  8. Bedding height.
  9. Sleep sets sold “as is”, floor models, or samples.
  10. Products sold for commercial or institutional use.
  11. Bodyfuel or its agents shall not be liable for incidental or consequential damages that result from the use of this product.
  12. Normal wear and tear, a gradual depreciation of support and comfort over time from regular use.
  • THIS WARRANTY WILL BE INVALID IF THE MATTRESS OR FOUNDATION HAS BEEN ABUSED OR IMPROPERLY CARED FOR, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
  1. Inadequate support from an unsuitable or weak foundation.
  2. Inadequate support from an unsuitable bed frame or base.
  3. Stains, soiling, or burns.
  4. Excessive abuse or lack of care.
  5. Upholstery compacting due to insufficient turning.
  6. Using a board between the mattress and foundation.
  7. Any damage as a result of moving or other subsequent relocation.
  8. Normal wear and tear, which is a gradual depreciation of support and comfort over time from regular use.

WHAT TO DO IF WARRANTY SERVICE IS NEEDED:

  • Contact bodyfuel customer service and complete a warranty questionnaire.
    The bodyfuel product label and law label must be intact and remain affixed to the product.
    Do not return the product (for repair or replacement) without specific instructions from bodyfuel.

CARE FOR YOUR NEW BODYFUEL PRODUCT

  • BODY IMPRESSIONS: The materials used in this product are designed to conform to your body’s individual contours. Normal settling of materials is to be expected and is not a structural or manufacturing defect. A premium quality mattress is expected to contour and will compact and soften slightly where used most.
  • FOUNDATION: Do not use a foundation that is old, worn or sags. The foundation supports the entire product, and a structurally inferior foundation can cause the product to collapse or fatigue and voids the warranty.
  • FRAME SUPPORT: A center support is required. Larger bodyfuel products require the use of a bed frame with a horizontal or vertical metal center support and leg support to prevent sagging. 
  • MOVING: Do not bend, fold, or stand your product as internal damage may result. Do not stand or jump on the product. By carrying the product on its side, it is less likely to get damaged. It should be stored flat.

IMPORTANT CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

  • The bodyfuel product must be continuously supported by an. approved foundation and used with an appropriate frame with center and leg support. A bed requires a minimum of 5 cross slats (1” X 4”) with 3 concentrated in the center third for larger sizes as well as a longitudinal central beam with a center leg support to the floor.

HOW TO CARE FOR THE PRODUCT:

  • Rotate the product every month (as shown below) for the first 6 months, every 3 months thereafter.
  • Rotate the foundation every 3 months.
  • Do not fold or bend your mattress.
  • Use a quality bed frame. To avoid structural damage and voiding of your warranty, larger sizes must also be used with a rigid center support with a leg.
  • Do not get the product wet.
  • Use a mattress encasement to keep the product clean and healthy.
  • Do not use an iron or excessive heat on the product.
